A few Friars Court wedding photos from Pete and Clare’s wedding in July 2010.
When it comes to beautiful brides, Clare is someone who shines from the inside as well at the outside. That may sound odd to say, but when someone is as lovely in person as they look it always pleases me. I’ve decided too that Clare is my celebrity wedding of the year, as she’s secretly Kylie Minogue! Clearly Pete is punching above his weight, which I can only commend him for! :-)
So, a wedding at Friars Court. I felt perhaps I should move into Friars Court throughout July having a spell of four weddings in a row through the month. It is a great venue though, especially on a dry day with an outdoor wedding ceremony planned.
I like hair worn down for weddings, and this neat style of it swept to the side really suited Clare’s look.
This was apparently Clare’s mum technique to remove any creases from the wedding dress. It kinda back fired later when she tried it on the bridesmaid dresses and blew them off the hanger though! :-)
Wedding flowers can look so beautiful, not always on a toilet though!
Friars Court is beautiful for an outdoor wedding ceremony….how idyllic hey?
Cool fascinator huh?
If you’re having an afternoon tea party for your wedding drinks reception then vintage tea cups are a must.
A quick kiss before the wedding breakfast.
Pete’s little black book ;-)
What a great expression Pete has when cutting the cake – I love this sequence of photos, never has anyone been so pleased with themselves after cake cutting!
Staying on later at this wedding meant we had the opportunity to pop out for some couple portraits in the early evening when the light was just right. Golden sunshine, field of corn, beautiful bride (and Pete!) what more could you ask for!?
I love this natural photo of Pete and Clare in front of the main house at Friars Court. It very much sums them up.
Have you been looking for Friars Court wedding photos or are considering having your wedding there…. drop me a line if so, I’d love to hear from you.
