I originally met Antonia’s mum at the Kingscote Barn wedding fair in March 2012. She’d been looking for a wedding photographer in Gloucestershire and decided despite the event taking place in a marquee in their own garden, she’d have a look around the fair to meet up with a few local suppliers. I guess if you are having a marquee wedding reception in your own garden and therefore planning the entire day yourself, knowing where to start with suppliers isn’t easy.
Thankfully despite a slightly delayed start to the wedding breakfast and only a marginal over run into the evening, the day went without a hitch. October provided some superb weather to accompany the day, with glorious sunshine and warm temperatures too.
A few photos are below.
Hair and Make-up with everyone watching.
Antonia had a fantastic wedding dress with lace detailing across the chest.
Very well presented wedding shoes.
Gran looked superb, and was very excited about the wedding.
Now thats’s the kinda expression you want when a bridesmaid first sees your wedding dress – jaw dropping!
Delicate earrings complement the look with Antonia wedding hair tied to the side.
The lace on the wedding dress was folded and fixed in place.
Veil test.
Love the fantastic light in this wedding photo combined with the movement in the long wedding veil.
More veil testing :-)
It’s great to see others watching the ceremony takes place.
The wedding veil really was very long.
Enthusiasm in bucket loads.
Drinks on the lawn with golden October light.
It’s not the norm to have wedding portraits with your horse included.
Were the speeches really that bad?
The wedding double act.
Not many wedding props include the Spice Girls.
Cake cutting looks quite an effort.
