If it’s country chic you’re after then here are a super selection of marquee wedding photos from Nick & Jenny’s vintage style tipi wedding in September 2011. It’s fair to say you couldn’t ask for a better start to the day than a rolling up at Jenny’s mums house for bridal preps….her home is beautiful. I guess running it as a B&B does mean you need to pay a little more attention to your interior decoration that perhaps some. It’s safe to say though, I feel the family have a creative streak in them and whether or not it was a B&B it’d still be beautiful.
Having a marquee wedding in the gardens must have therefore been the obvious choice, and with the small woodland to use too, made this a magical wedding. Jenny has a great eye for design (it helps that she’s a web designer) and made so many bespoke DIY touches (from hand painted signs to flowers in jam jars) wihch give this wedding a vintage homemade feel.
The arrangements for the day couldn’t have been better either. Just a short hop from Jenny’s mums home was the local parish church, where upon Jenny’s arrival many of the villagers had come out to see her. It’s great to have that community feel and with fine weather we certainly capitalised on use of the gardens and outdoor space.
Drafted in for entertainment where a brilliant band called the Paris Swing Quartet, so if you’re out looking for something with a twist for your wedding day then certainly give them a try. Add to that some wedding tipis, vintage styling, great weather and you’ll have yourself a perfect wedding – at least this combo worked for Nick & Jenny.

Can I have this bedroom in my house please? How nice!?!
Yep, that’s exactly where I found jenny’s wedding shoes – honest….I didn’t move them ;-)
The Morris Minor wedding car defiantly suited this wedding really well……better still, the rain held off and the roof came down later too.
It’s not every day you get your sisters to feed you slices of banana – make the most of it, work those bridesmaids!
Love this photo – you can just feel the energy as Jenny arrived downstairs looking all ‘Bride like’.
Decisions, decisions, should the veil be worn over your face or behind? My vote is with over the face…..extra drama – love it.
Check out the bridesmaid dresses. Kinda the same but all different – a really nice subtle touch.
The village church in Ripple, Gloucestershire.
If possible to get, this is often one of my favourite shots at a wedding. I really enjoy seeing the expressions of guests looking on as you are getting married at the front of the church.
One vintage wedding car, supplied with comedy looking driver.
The Paris Swing Quartet in action.
Taking a photo, through wedding bunting blowing in the wind isn’t as easy as I’d have hoped.
Umm, best mans speech reaches an all time low.
The wedding tipis fitted just neatly into the garden.
