Can you guess where I’ve been this week? Yep Kingscote Barn! I have photographed a lot of Kingscote Barn weddings over the past few years, possibly because I’m recommended by them, but also they tend to hold quite a few weddings there each year – so the law of averages suggests I should be there more than once or twice a year right? This weekend was Justin & Carly’s wedding in the beautiful month of September.
It was a church ceremony in Almondsbury first, before heading back to the barn for their drinks reception, speeches and wedding breakfast. I’d not met Carly before the wedding day, so it was great to finally catch up, having spoken on the phone and emailed on numerous occasions. The bridal preps were at her mums house, where all the girls were together having a great time. Bubbly to hand, but also the tissues! Make-up was done by oen of Carly’s friends, which is always super handy……just means they then have very little time to get ready themselves. So watch out if you’re a friendly hairdresser or MUA on a wedding day!
The weather was perfect the whole day and I was allowed to take photos where I wanted in the church…what more do you need?
Anyhow, here are a few photos from the day, you can see more in my facebook wedding photo galleries, so if this isn”t enough hop on over for a look.
How handy is this, get the kids to sort themselves out.
Not a dry eye in the house – or bedroom in this case.
I love this photo of mm looking on proudly.
Check out the super excitable kid in this confetti photo.
Carly had loads of lovely wedding decorations on the tables and around Kingscote Barn.
Need entertainment for your wedding day – this magician was great.
If you have been looking at Kingscote Barn weddings and need a photographer let me know, I’d love to hear from you.
