Over the lovely bank holiday weekend I was busy blasting out weddings like never before! It’s not quite a holiday when you have three weddings in a row to photograph, but what made it magical for me was the difference as ever between them all. The first of my triple header was a garden wedding at Barnsley House in Gloucestershire for Paul & Heather. They had specifically chosen to keep the day low key yet exclusive, which pretty much sums up a wedding at Barnsley House. A late afternoon garden party, with fine dining and friends & family joining you is simply all it took to have a great day. Paul did add some tears to take the emotional scale up well into the high 90’s, yet Heather kept her cool and took it all in her stride. I could clearly see how this couple worked together. A perfect match.
So a few photos to follow, not so much of my inane chatter as the current build up of weddings in my MBP are itching to escape! More to do, lots to come, watch the space, but in the interim enjoy this beautiful garden wedding at Barnsley House that was Paul & Heathers fine day.
Something to calm the nerves.
Note the ‘teenager’ still getting dressed!
Paul’s face says it all. I think maybe that part of the best mans speech may need editing out!
Okay, hold it together!
The wedding breakfast room at Barnsley House is so beautiful Full of charm and character. I especially like the doorway into it from outside
Apparently if you tilt your head backwards it stops the tears!?
Uh oh….that bottom lip has started to drop again!
“Yep, one ring is on….all is going to plan”.
That’s how to do ‘first kiss’ eh?
Don’t hold back with the kisses eh?
Love this photo. It’s great to see the friends reaction.
Kids eh?
Have you got a pic of my shoes????
Group shots aren’t necessarily a stand still and smile affair!
The boys went one better…..
….and the girls ‘tried’ to compete!!
I’ve seen a lot of this lately, high heels and lawns aren’t always the best match.
A lovely intimate wedding at Barnsley House – around 30 close friends and family really make for the perfect day.
Ting ting, time for some speeches.
