Fancy seeing a few few Cripps Barn wedding photos from David and Helen’s big day back in February 2010. Then look no further as when it comes to big days this was a whopper! Not only was it their wedding day, but valentine day and also Helen’s birthday. I’m thinking this is one day not to forget, especially if you’re David – yikes!
Cripps Barn is situated close to the village of Barnsley where Helen and her bridesmaids prettified in the morning. They stayed at Barnsley Village pub, right opposite Barnsley House, another popular Cotswold wedding venue. It’s a great place to start your day, and guests can choose to stay here to.
As for picking the right date, the weather was cracking for Feburay too. Warm (for this time of year) with a clear sky and just a few light clouds to make my day a little easier.
Anyhow, enjoy a few photos from their wedding day below and don’t forget you can keep up to date on Matt Davis Photography on Facebook too.
Ahhh….all hands together for this one :-)
I love it when brides get wedding day cards.
Quick check for the back of hair looking good?
Ohh dear, someone’s spilt something in their bridesmaid dress before the weddings even started!
Cripps Barn on a crisp February day.
I really like this photo taken just before Helen walks down the aisle at Cripps Barn. The look of concentration on her bridesmaids face, plus the beautiful colour in the background give this photo a real intensity.
Fantastic fireplace – bet that was a warm place to sit though!
Looks like someones been walking on the grass as well as to the tattoo parlour.
Careful not to knock it!
Winter weddings often yield great light. Perfect for when I want to take some couple portraits in the gardens of Cripps Barn
Great eyes!
