Chavenage House wedding photography from Mark and Jo’s wedding in September 2010.
To describe Jo as slightly nervous or a bit of a worrier is perhaps and understatement. There has never been anyone more anxious on their wedding day than Jo. Yet, regardless of this she is simply the loveliest person ever. Very caring and considerate, clearly emotional about the day but set to marry the man of her dreams – Mark!
Living in Minchinhampton they decided to have a church ceremony at Holy Trinity Church, followed by their wedding reception at Chavenage House which is fairly close by. Yes it’s a venue with a strange name, no it’s not Chav House, it’s pronounced with an ‘ae’ sound :-) If you’ve not heard of it before though, check out my views on Chavenage House wedding venue here.
Anyhow, in between the tears, and further near to tears moments Jo did finally get married to Mark, and the day went without a hitch. The weather was impeccable – as it so often is in July. The Vicar allowed photography in the Church and the caterers remembered to feed me some food :-) Life doesn’t get any better than that!
Jo and her sister are a real contrast of characters. Quirky hair, confidence and tattoos…..are they really sisters?
Sage green has been a really popular colour for weddings lately.
I love this moment as Jo’s dad sees her for the first time in her wedding dress. And yes, there were tears!
Holy Trinity Church in Minchinhampton.
Sometimes you have to work with harsh sunlight rather than against it. Shadows can be cool huh!?
More tears – this time from Mark, who’d have guessed it!
Ahhh. I’ll bet mum was pleased with a sleeping baby for the duration of the wedding service.
What a great spot for signing of the wedding register
I enjoy taking photos of wedding guests during the day, especially when I get 9 or 10 faces all looking the same way!
More tears as Jo finds out her granddad did make- it to the wedding.
Sometime wedding group photos yeild unexpected surprises. Love this touching moment…..especially with Granddad on the left also looking on.
