Roll on up for a few Berkeley Castle winter wedding photos from Gavin & Sasha’s super sunny day in December 2012. It’s amazing how quickly a wedding day comes around…surely it was only a few weeks ago I met them in Cheltenham to take some engagement photos. Ahh maybe it was the summer, in fact you can check them out here: Gloucestershire Portrait Photographer.
So, fast forward to the wedding day itself; a relaxed couple, the perfect winters day and Berkeley Castle set as the backdrop – what more could one ask for? Well, I got a fantastic vicar, (who allows photography during the service), perfect hospitality from Pippa at Berkeley Castle, and fine food from Napia Catering too.
Yes folks, this was a good wedding for one of my last in the season. Speaking of which, there really isn’t such a thing as a season I’ve now decided. With 85% of my diary already filled for 2013, it’s come to my attention that perhaps March is the best month to be getting married….it’s certainly popular.
Well with Christmas on the horizon, it’s best I get posting and finally catch up on the last few outstanding album orders from 2012. Have a fun Christmas folks, and I look forward to catching up with my new clients in 2013.
A welcome smile. In fact Sasha smiles rather a lot :-)
Mum & Dad clearly happy with Sasha’s decision to marry Gavin.
I love this little look Sasha is giving Gavin, plus the hand holding.
Get ready, they’re about to walk back down the aisle.
Everyone loves a Guard Of Honour…..especially when it’s not raining.
There’s that smile again.
Multitask-tastic.
I needed my extra long arms for this photo.
Sasha and Gavin jumped in their wedding car for a short spin around the block whilst guests made their way to the castle.
Inside Berkeley Castle, set for a winter wedding with the Christmas tree too!
One of my favourite photos in silhouette I’ve taken in a while. (Sorry everyone else, but according to my wife you can’t beat a man in uniform).
The best man worked the crowd far too much, pushing what should have been a 12 min speech over by 2 mins and outside my best bet!
Ever wondered what happens after you’ve eaten your wedding breakfast, when the room is getting cleared and the cold nights are upon us. Well folks…..it’s Cuppa Tea Time!
Drink up folks, the dancing is about to start.
