I’d previously met Sian having photographed her sisters winter wedding at Matara back in November 2010. Clearly time flies, and this time around it was Nick & Sian’s turn to take the limelight. I say this, but the reality was very different. Neither Sian or Nick are attention seeking types, but like it or not, […]
Four photographers in North Wales
Looking at a computer 24/7 isn’t great for the soul, neither is it good for a hyper active individual such as myself. If you’ve read my ‘about‘ page you’re possibly already aware of this. What I really like doing is being outdoors, with space to spread my wings, roam free and enjoy the elements. I […]
Engagement photos at Barnsley House – Anton & Katherine
I wasn’t at a wedding this weekend, instead Anton & Katherine had invited me to take some engagement photos at Barnsley House. How could I possibly refuse? It’s a popular boutique hotel that oozes Cotswold charm, has extensive gardens, chic interior design wrapped in and around it’s beautiful building. In short, it makes the perfect […]
Autumnal wedding at Berkeley Castle – James & Hannah
It’s certainly getting chillier, you can tell the season has changed. Long gone are the warm days of summer, with light evenings and opportunities to nip outside for a few photos after the wedding breakfast. It only seems like yesterday I was enjoying that. Ahh well, time to embrace change and an autumnal wedding at […]
Wedding photography Kingscote Barn – Jake & Nina
Last (ish) weekend was a double header of weddings, with Jake and Nina picking a Friday to tie the knot at Kingscote Barn. Actually that’s not quite true. They got married at Kingscote Church, then went onto Kingscote Barn afterwards for drinks, canapés, food, tales of their youth (aka speeches) & dancing. I followed the […]
Caradoc Court wedding photos – Simon & Bianca
Many moons ago I was contacted by Bianca who was very excited about the idea of me being her wedding photographer. I recall her main concern at the time being the fact I’m based in Gloucestershire, and therefore would I cover her wedding at Caradoc Court (which is in Herefordshire). Safe to say, it’s not […]
Ardington House wedding photography – Peter & Amanda
Sit back for a stunning collection of Ardington House wedding photography which I must admit has as much to do with my bride being gorgeous, the weather superb and Ardington House a fantastic wedding venue, as it was down to my skills behind the camera! Sometimes it all falls into place, you have enough time […]
Weddings in the Cotswolds – Alex & Ali
I find a lot of Londoner’s choose to have weddings in the Cotswolds, but for Alex & Ali it wasn’t just the quintessential English charm this area has to offer that drew them to it, but the fact Ali attended Cheltenham Ladies College and wanted to find somewhere typically Cotswold to have her wedding. There are […]
Wedding at Kingscote church – Vic & Torie
Vic and Torie chose to have their wedding at Kingscote church (St. John the Baptist), followed by Kingscote Barn. If you’re thinking of going down this route, i.e. a Church wedding ceremony, be prepared to put in the leg work. Vic & Torie attended the church on many occasions prior to their wedding, which is by no mean feat when they don’t even live in Gloucestershire.
