Sudeley Castle is a unique wedding venue situated in the Cotswold Hills near Winchcombe, Gloucestershire. The castle is rich in history and set in 1200 acres of grounds including a chapel, award winning gardens with romantic ruins, providing beautiful settings for wedding photography. Sudeley Castle is one of only a few wedding venues in Gloucestershire that have the option of an outdoor wedding ceremony.

In 2012, Sudeley castle started allowing outdoor wedding ceremonies in the Tithe Barn to complement the alternative options of the chapel and/or use of wedding marquees within the grounds..

Clearwell Castle

Clearwell Castle is probably one of the best all round wedding venues in Gloucestershire. It works well for summer and winter weddings, there is ample space inside for guests, sufficient parking on site for guests, rooms for guests to stay over and you also have the facility of a Church nearby too. What more do you need?

A dedicated wedding venue, Clearwell castle is licensed for Civil ceremonies and the unique Ballroom has a 75ft aisle and leaded glass windows. Offering great natural light for wedding portraits. The Ballroom can also seat up to 160 people for the Wedding breakfast and the reception rooms and the vaulted cellar can easily accommodate 250 guests for evening dancing.

Bibury Court

Bibury Court is a stunning Jacobean mansion set in the Cotswolds, not far from Cirencester and Cheltenham. This boutique hotel is one of the best wedding venues in Gloucestershire and offers an unpretentious setting amongst the history and charm of it’s picturesque surroundings. This venue is great for intimate weddings of up to 75 guests, where the house can be booked for your exclusive use.

You can have a civil wedding ceremony at the hotel, but should you wish to take advantage of St Mary’s Church in Bibury then it’s only a short walk through Bibury Court’s gardens and literally out the back gate.

Pittville Pump Room is an elegant Grade 1 listed building set in the lovely Pittville Park, Cheltenham. This unique and iconic building is great for a large weddings accommodating up to 400 guests in the main hall for the ceremony and 220 for a wedding breakfast. There are also opportunities for smaller weddings with rooms upstairs off the gallery.

From a wedding photography perspective Pittville Pump Room has plenty of opportunities right on the doorstep – literally.
