About Matt (me)

I’ve read plenty of boring photographer ‘about pages’ having worked in this industry since 2005 when Matt Davis Photography first sprouted.  I’m therefore not going to tell you I got my first camera when I was five, how I’ve always loved photography or get all arty on my ‘about me’ page.

You’ve presumably come here to ‘check me out’. “Is this guy normal, what does he look like, does he have a personality?”  They are all important questions.  You know the photography’s good right, you just need to vet the man in charge?!  I’d be wondering the same thing too, after all you do have to spend a day with me!

So let me tell you who I am, what I care about and what I’d put into room 101 if I had the chance.

I’m I dad of two sometimes fantastic kids, have a lovely house in Cheltenham and the flexibility (but also overwhelming responsibility) of owning my own photography business.  I struggle to sit still for more than five minutes, love being outdoors, have interests in design and enjoy growing my own food.

I’d rather be at a beach than in front of a computer, I find social media has ironically made people, well, less sociable. Despite this you can of course find me on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.  You could also pick up the phone for a chat (07929 645139)…..I’ve usually got something to say.
