Grab a pew, give yourself 5 mins off work and take a look at Martin & Bryony’s wedding from Friars Court in July 2010. As far as quintessential English weddings go, this must be up there with the best of them. Bridal preps in a chocolate box Cotswold village, followed by a wedding ceremony at St Mary’s Church, Swerford then onto Friars Court in Oxfordshire for the wedding reception. Not only was the wedding venue choice pretty much perfect, the transport matched the theme too….with Bryony traveling in a classic vintage racing green wedding car.
The weather too was on best behavior, warm yes, but not too hot. Certainly what you want so you can enjoy the gardens at Friars Court without getting your heals stuck!
So, onto a few photos from their wedding day.
Great fake eye lashes hey!?
All hands on deck for doing up the wedding dress.
St Mary’s Church, Swerford.
A cool bride is always 5 mins late!
Martin looks a wee bit worried about what he may have just committed to here!? LOL
Wedding couple. Vintage wedding car. Friars Court. Photo. Check.
What a cracking day for a drinks reception on the lawn. Not a cloud in the sky – ahh, okay, one perfectly placed white cloud :-)
I believe this is the second time I spotted bunting at this wedding. This time in the barn.
Occasionally group photos need a little extra space above their heads!
Friars Court has many charming spots to take wedding photos. This little bridge tucked away from the main gardens is perfect.
