If you’re looking to have a wedding with the whole day in just one place, then Clearwell Castle is a great option. They have wedding accommodation (and plenty of it), large rooms and the facility for a civil ceremony or use of the local church, a short stroll away. Lucy however started the day not at the castle but her parents house near Huntley, Gloucestershire. This does mean you get to have a wedding car though hey!
Lucy is a cool dresser (can I say that?), so it was super to see an unusual wedding dress (perhaps a little 50’s in it’s styling) and some vintage looking details for the day. There are a few photos in this blog post…..including the infamous shoes in a tumble dryer shot!
Lucy’s dad also enjoys taking photos which you can see behind her in this picture.

A totally impromptu moment whilst the two were chatting. It’s just one of those photos that perhaps looks staged, yet really isn’t.
A couple of quick wedding photos, which had to include this cracking vintage wedding car.
This photo, although a tearful moment, is one I really like. Not only has the bride got a tissue to her eye, but so also has her mum in the foreground.
